What About Online Dating Sites and Services?

Tuesday, November 27th, 2007

By Jack Strom With the hustle and bustle of today’s busy schedules, many single men and women have a very difficult time finding the time and energy to go out meeting new people. And when we can’t meet anyone new, our chances for finding love, soulmates, or long lasting relationships become slim to none. Because of this growing problem, online dating sites and services have become very popular in the past several years. Now when these sites and services started appearing on the Internet, many people were skeptical. In fact, plenty of intelligent, professional singles felt they’d appear too desparate or geeky if they were to use one themselves. And in those early years, some online dating services admittedly seemed to attract a more seedy element than many of us are comfortable with. Thankfully though, these sites and services have really matured over the past several years, and they’re now one of the very best ways to meet new people with similar interests, dreams and desires. In fact, some estimates state that at least 80% of people over the age of forty have used online dating services. And this number appears to be growing. So why are online dating services now becoming so popular? Because they’re easy to use, they can be fit into your own time constraints - no matter how busy you might be. They’re actually cheaper than a night out on the town too. In most cases just one month’s membership fee is less than you’d spend in one night, going out to the clubs and bars with friends. There’s also many more people you can potentially meet using an online dating service. Instead of being at a club which might have a capacity of 1000 people, you can search through tens of thousands of profiles online at your leisure instead. And another reason the online dating services have gotten so popular, is because it’s quick and easy to weed out any prospects that don’t meet your personal dating criteria. That alone is a very powerful, almost priceless feature. Let’s say you’re a woman looking to meet a nice professional guy within 150 miles of where you live. But you’re an up and coming professional, and you’re not interested in family yet because you want to concentrate on your career. With this in mind, your preference is to not date guys who have kids of their own. When you go to a bar, a party or nightclub, there is no way to know how many of the guys meet your personal criteria until you’ve had time to actually sit down and talk with each one. Using an online dating service though, you can find guys which match your criteria before ever saying one word to them. You simply use the profile search and browse tools provided by the online dating service you’ve chosen, and tell it what you’re looking for. Then you’re presented with a list of guys who fit. From there you can narrow things down even further if you’d like, and browse through as many as you want from the privacy and comfort of your own home. It doesn’t matter what time of day or night it is, and the guys you’re looking at don’t have to actually be online at the same time either. You can find ones that interest you at your convenience, and you don’t have to waste time being polite to all the others you’re not interested in. So if you’ve been hesitating, not sure if you should try an online dating service, you don’t know what you’re missing out on. It’s much easier, more relaxed and fun than you might realize! Romantic Honeymooning Resort Deals

Sunday, November 25th, 2007

By Richard Rspad After dealing with all the demands of a wedding, you dont need more stress on your honeymoon. Romantic honeymooning resort deals save you money and take the stress out of the process. Planning the perfect honeymoon can be anything but relaxing. The stress of choosing a perfect location, time of year, and finding the best deal for your trip can all add up making planning your honeymoon a chore instead of something to look forward to. One way to avoid the stress of planning a full honeymoon is to choose one of the many ready made deals that are available from travel websites and travel agents. Pre-set deals can definitely make this part of wedding planning easier and more enjoyable. St. Lucia, named one of the top ten honeymoon destinations in the world, is one spot that has quite a few deals to choose from. St. Lucia is a smaller island nation that’s located in the Caribbean, and has over its history, been a colony of Great Britain, and a member of the Federation of the West Indies. Currently (since 1979) St. Lucia has been an independent state within the Commonwealth of Nations and the main spoken language here is English. There are many different resorts that make perfect honeymoon spots on St. Lucia, and several of them offer honeymoon deals. One of these is the Ladera Resort, known as the most beautiful hideaway on St. Lucia. With extremely private rooms, overlooking the Les Pitons, this resort features a private plunge pool as well as gorgeous canopy beds in the rooms. Available at this resort is also a combination package, which allows you to stay for some of your honeymoon at the Sandals Regency Resort located in the northern part of the island, and then spend the balance of your honeymoon at the Ladera Resort. The Body Holiday, an all-inclusive resort located on St. Lucia, is another choice for couples wanting a great romantic retreat. This spa resort with programs that are meant to rejuvenate the body, mind and spirit offers couples a different sort of island experience, but one that is still secluded and private. With 154 air conditioned rooms, the style of this resort may vary from others on St. Lucia, but the same breathtaking views and perfect beaches are available at this spot. St. Lucia’s many resorts offer some of the best of the Caribbean’s romantic honeymoon options, and the lack of language barrier (for Americans) as well as the secluded feel of this small island makes St. Lucia the honeymoon destination you’ve been looking for. Practical Marketing - Get More Results from Sensible, Effective Marketing

Saturday, November 24th, 2007

By Cynthia Pinsonnault 1) Know your budget. You don’t want a surprise when you get to a vendor and find out all your work is going to cost much more than you have. Set a budget and then work with vendors so you develop the best possible product within that limit. 2) Know your audience. Knowing how your audience thinks will help keep your message on track. The more you can learn about your ideal prospect, the more focused you can be in targeting their needs with your message, and thereby, improve the response. 3) Know your delivery system. Now that you know your budget and your audience, you can determine how best to deliver your message. What will your prospects respond to that can be created on your budget? Will a postcard work best? Or letters? Or email promotion? Don’t guess at this one. Worse yet, don’t select a medium just because someone is trying to sell you that service. 4) Know the language that triggers response. Be sure your message is not all about you or your company. Your message should enlighten prospects about the benefits you offer them. People act for many reasons. Triggers such as make money or save money, safety and security, and build reputation are good examples. What are the trigger words that will make your prospects act? 5) Know what result you want. Use a “call to action.” Always, always, always ask your prospect to take action. Lead prospects with good information that is useful to them and bring them to a point where you can ask them to take the next step: call for more information, send in a reply card, go to our Web site, call customer service and place your order now, reply now for a free report, and more. 6) Know how to present your message. Every page, printed or online, has a hierarchy where some parts of the message are more important than other parts. If you try to make everything important, then nothing is important. A hierarchy also helps guide readers through your message. For example, the main idea of your message might be contained in a large headline at the top and the location of the company’s headquarters in smaller copy at the bottom. 7) Know what not to say. Work to limit your message to one at a time. Don’t confuse readers with multiple (particularly if they are unrelated or conflicting) messages. Stick to one thing, get one idea across. And then repeat that message. Want more information about my 7-steps system for practical marketing? When Good Looks Aren’t Enough

Saturday, November 24th, 2007

By Kelly O’Brien Even seasoned experts have to face the harsh reality that great work can’t protect them from having to market. Marketing and sales are life skills essential for survival. If you want to do what you love, heres what it takes to get past that first date. Back to School For many professionals, findingyourself at the bottom of the revenue learning curve is a frustratingexperience. To make matters worse, your target buyers are on a steep learningcurve about what you can do for them. The key is to enlighten both yourself andyour buyers. Knowing how to market and sell, then skillfully applying thisknowledge to your buyer is what will get you there. There are four stages to climb on yourjourney - picture a staircase or ladder, with one stage on each level: Clueless. You don’t know what youdon’t know. This often manifests as frustration with your buyer why dontthey get it?! Cant they see youre the best? For your buyers, it could be thatthey don’t know you exist or that they see little difference between you andyour competitors. Ignorance can be bliss, but it won’t get you more business. Anxious. You’ve become aware thattheres a lot you dont know. Reading this article could move you to thisstage. Witnessing a colleague or competitor win a contract that you missed outon could do it. For your buyer, this could happen if you do a free needsassessment, or send a short case study illustrating client successes they’venot been able to achieve on their own. Bottom line: you’re more motivated toclose the gap between your current state (in pain) and your desired state(pain-free and successful). Confident. Armed with new knowledge, you feel more confident. With some effort, coaching, courage to try new things, and smallsuccesses, you get better results. It takes effort to do the right things, butyou’re on your way. For your buyer, this stage means they see “What’s InIt For Them” to do business with you, are confident you can solve theirproblem better than anyone else, trust that you’ll not let them down, and see aclear path of action to get their needs met. Competent. Like tying your shoes, this is when it feels natural and easy. You’re probably here in your chosenprofession. With the right approach and accumulated successes under your belt, you’ll get here with marketing and sales. Its a blissful place to be and willget you more business than you ever thought possible! Brains and Beauty Facing your “revenue reality”can be a tough pill to swallow. To make it easier, give these things a try: Increaseyour knowledge. Read articles about marketing andsales that you might not normally bother with. Attend a talk or workshop aboutmarketing or sales that typically wouldn’t make it into your schedule. Exposeyourself to new ideas and differentknowledge. Pickone new idea and try it. Start small, get somesuccesses under your belt, keep moving. Aim for one new revenue action everyweekthen every day! As you start experiencing betterresults from your actions, you’ll noticea shift. It won’t feel like such a burden. It’ll feel like a natural partof what you do. It won’t be “someone else’s job.” You’ll actuallystart to enjoy it. Bepatient with yourself and the process. Youdidn’t become an industry expert overnight, nor will you become a greatrainmaker instantly. If you really want the freedom to do the work you love, you’ve got to commit to the life skill of funding your passion for the longhaul. Don’t let naivet or arrogance stand in your way. Marketing and sales are notabout hustling, twisting arms, misleading, or shameless promotion. Theyreabout solving buyers problems and sharing what you know, in a way thatconnects with and empowers them to choose wisely. Next time youre tempted to rest onyour laurels (and not get out of your comfort zone), reconsider. Marketing maynot be as difficult as your chosen profession, but it’s still a stretch formany. Your willingness to try new thingsthat most others won’t puts you ahead of the other fish in the sea! (c) TurningPointe Marketing, Inc. Hydrate to Lose Weight: The Real Skinny On Water Retention and Sodium

Friday, November 23rd, 2007

By Michael Callen If you’ve been scouring the news, devouring as much information as possible regarding weight loss, you’ve likely heard all the buzz about the relationship between weight loss and drinking water. It has been well documented that the liver is able to metabolize more fat if you help out your kidneys by drinking plenty of water each day. What is not often explained is water’s relationship to salt and how to tell when you are drinking enough water. The purpose of this article is to focus on these two issues. First of all, let’s take a look at how our bodies deal with salt! Salt (sodium, at least) is a necessary ingredient to regulate blood pressure and fluid volumes in our bodies. Additionally, it is a top notch preservative and it tastes good! Salt is — well — the salt of the earth. Sorry … Like everything else, we can have too much of a good thing, though. If you’ve ever seen an ocean disaster movie where people are adrift in the sea hoping for rescue, you’ve probably heard the warning to not drink salt water. This warning is true and must be heeded if you find yourself adrift at sea, or on a diet. The reason is that the body can only handle a certain concentration of salt. If you eat a really salty meal, you may notice that your body will experience some swelling. This swelling is retained water which is being kept by the body in order to keep the salt in solution. So how do you get rid of retained water?? Well, believe it or not, the answer is that you drink water to get rid of water! That’s right. It’s counterintuitive, but true. By drinking extra water, it will allow your body to “flush” the excess salt out and to release the retained water. Think of it this way, your body grows to “expect” a particular amount of sodium and a particular volume of water. It “reserves” water in your body knowing more salt is to come. When you drink a gallon of water over the course of the day, your body “learns” that you are providing plenty of water. Eventually it begins to “trust” that you’ll continue doing so and it lets go of the surplus. At seven pounds per gallon, it can add up to a lot of weight quickly. Secondly, we want to discuss how to tell if you are getting enough water. The first step toward turning yourself into a human water meter is to get on a regimen of drinking more water each day. Try to drink twelve (8 ounce) glasses of water each day when you are dieting, and at least eight when you reach your optimal weight. (These are guidelines that must be adjusted using common sense. There may be circumstances such as weather, type of work, body size, physical activity and many others that will require you to drink much more or less than this.) If you are more than twenty pounds overweight, you should drink an extra glass for every 20 pounds over your optimal weight. Once you’ve been on this regimen for a few weeks, you should notice some changes (beyond being exhausted by the hundreds of trips to the restroom — just kidding!) Many people report that their skin looks and feels better, that headaches disappear, that they require less sleep and that they simply have more energy. Biologically though, the best way to tell if you are drinking enough water is the color (rather the lack of color) of your urine. Many people think that color in their urine is due to waste being flushed out of the body, but it is, in fact, simply due to a shortage of water. Clear urine means you are drinking plenty of water. Another benefit to drinking plenty of water is that your natural water alarm clock (thirst) will return. Your body will begin to signal to you that it is thirsty since it is no longer in the habit of hoarding water. Listen to your body and you’ll continue to lose weight and burn fat. Here are a few tips to help you drink more water each day (if any of these tips work for you, use post-it note reminders until they become habit): 1. Cut peeled citrus fruits into squares and freeze them. Float them in your drinking water and treat yourself to them at the end of each glass. 2. Always carry a big water bottle with you so that you can drink while you are running errands, driving, or waiting. 3. Stop drinking coffee, tea and soda that contain caffeine. Caffeine is a diuretic, which means that it causes your body to lose, or expel, water. Try drinking water with decaffeinated Green Tea Extract, instead. It’s delicious. Effective Marketing: First Impressions Count

Thursday, November 22nd, 2007

By Wendy Maynard A mistake that entrepreneurs and business owners making is trying to create their own marketing materials or to have an amateur a friend, relative, or neighbor design their materials. It may seem like you are saving money by doing your own logo, business card, or website, however, the reality is that you are making a VERY costly mistake that can make your business more likely to fail. By trying to create your marketing materials cheaply, you end up lookingwellcheap. Many business owners do not realize the high cost of this mistake. They do not understand that by having a logo, stationery, brochures, and other marketing materials that looks unprofessional and poorly designed is creating a sub par impression in the minds of new prospects. When you are in the building and growing phase of your business, you need everything you do to accelerate your success. Your logo and marketing materials are the first impression people get of your company a professionally designed logo contributes to your success by enhancing your business visibility and credibility. Your marketing tools should move your prospects closer to making a purchase. You cannot afford to look unprofessional and thrown together because you wont look like the expert you are, and you wont attract your dream customers. If a prospective customer views your materials as unprofessional or confusing, you will lose them to a competitor. Here are specific reasons why unprofessional marketing hurts you: 1. Your business does not look reliable and trustworthy. Customers may assume your company is more likely to fail because you have not taken the time to create a stable branding presence. No matter what business you are in, people want to purchase services or products from a company that appears established and secure. They want to know that you will be there for them if they have a problem or need your products/services in the future. Well-established, sound businesses need to look that way. 2. You appear less capable. Larger, successful businesses would never conduct business without professional, custom-designed marketing materials. Using marketing materials designed from templates or by an amateur gives your company the appearance of being flighty and inexperienced. You are less likely to attract professional clients when your business doesnt appear professional. It may give people the impression that you dont care about quality and attention to detail. 3. You are less likely to stand out. By using homemade marketing materials, you not only make your business look confused but you also have a problem differentiating your company from your competitors. You dont have a solid branding strategy, your core-marketing message isnt being reinforced, and you arent memorable. People make decisions on where they make a purchase based on first impressions and imagery. Anything your company puts out in front of prospects and customers must be of the highest quality. If your logo, website, business cards, and brochures arent well designed and professional, why would prospects think your services are any better? Your appearance sells your company first! Here are some specific tips to help you with the first impression you make through your marketing materials: - Never hand out a homemade business card. - Dont print out your own marketing materials. - Go to a professional designer to create your marketing materials, especially your logo. - Make sure all of your links on your website work. Avoid “under construction” and simply hide teh pages that aren’t completed yet. - Add your website URL to all of your printed materials. - Avoid clipart in your printed materials and never use jumping animals or rotating whirly-thingys on your website. Remember, people make decisions on where they make purchase based on first impressions and imagery. Anything your company puts out in front of prospects and customers must be of the highest quality. If your logo, website, business cards, and brochure arent well-designed and professional, why would prospects think your services are any better? ACTION ITEM: Conduct an audit of your current marketing materials. What is your logo like? Your business card? Website? Brochure? Are there specific items that need to be designed, redesigned, or rewritten? If so, which ones? Keep in mind, your appearance sells your company first! Spending money to have your marketing materials professionally designed is in investment in the future of your company that will pay off 100-fold over time. How I Overcame Anxiety/Panic Attacks

Wednesday, November 21st, 2007

By Susan Norrad Has this ever happened to you, out of the blue, for apparently no reason at all? You suddenly start experiencing any or all of the following symptoms: shortness of breath, chest pain or discomfort such as tightness, lightheaded, dizziness, faint, palpitations, a pounding heart, sweating, trembling or shaking, a choking sensation, nausea or stomach cramps, numbness or a tingling sensation, chills or hot flashes. Then you experience a fear of losing control or goingcrazy and even a fear of dying. If you suffer from anxiety, then you already know thatyou are having an attack. If you are experiencing mostof the symptoms above and do not know what is happening to you, there’s a good chance that it is ananxiety/panic attack. The first thing you should do is to have your doctor check you out. Do not be afraid to have it checkedif you think it’s anxiety. At one time, people wouldfeel embarrassed when they found out that it was “allin their head”. But it’s not all in your head. Anxietyand panic attacks are real and you’d be surprised to learn how many people suffer from this condition. Sadly, many suffer quietly at home, too afraid to venture beyond their safe place. I have had anxiety attacks on and off for over 20years. My doctor told me it was anxiety, but I was told to simply try to relax. Over the years, more has been learned about anxietyand panic attacks, as well new drugs have been developed to alleviate them. But the drugs only mask the symptoms and they comewith many unwanted side effects. I was also told thatI would be on the drug for two years, then I would have to stop taking them and go through withdrawal. So I stopped taking my prescription after a few days. I decided that I would have to find a way to stop theattacks myself. Here is what has worked for me. First, make thedecision that you are going to take charge and beanxiety free. Imagine how it would feel to always feel good, to be able to go anywhere you want togo, to stand in crowds or in line-ups and be calm and relaxed just like everyone else. Remember, thoughts do create and if you keep thinking about the attacks, they do get worse. Do deep breathing exercises as often per day as you can remember. Breathe deeply through your nostrils. Breathe not only with your chest, but take a deep breath and expand your stomach. Exhale through your mouth. This seems to work much better than exhaling through your nostrils, but you can try it both ways to see whichworks best for you. I have learned that deep breathing is a good practice foranyone. It helps to increase your oxygen and rid the body of toxins and increase your energy. Your doctor will tell you to eliminate coffee, tobacco andalcohol from your lifestyle. This is good advice, however,if you feel that it is too much to ask of you at this time. I have some suggestions to follow so that you can still workon your goal of being anxiety free without having to give up so much at once. You can start out by cutting back on your coffee. Too much coffee can make you jittery and bring on an attack.I still have my coffee many times throughout the day, but I only drink a half cup at a time. So I have cut my intakein half and it feels like it gives me the same lift as drinkinga full cup. If you smoke, but feel that you cannot give up the cigarettesat this time, do the same thing as I did for the coffee. When you want a cigarette, only smoke half at a time. I chose to eliminate alcohol altogether. Even if I only drank a small amount, it was enough to guarantee an attack the next day. Alcohol does effect people differently, so if you find that alcohol does not always cause you to have anattack the next day, still try to reduce the amount you drink. Exercise can help a lot. You do not have to do strenuousexercises. I practice Qi Gong. It caught my attention whenI read how it can stop anxiety. The exercises are easy, even10 minutes a day can work for you. It has for me. Qi Gong exercises are energy work. When you have anenergy blockage in your body, it will cause dis-ease. Bypracticing Qi Gong, you remove the blockage and you can feel better rather quickly. When you practice Qi Gong, you not only heal your own body, but you increase your energy so that you can heal others. I have seen some amazing healings with Qi Gong. So it was no surprise that it can cure anxiety, too. Another suggestion, which is rather interesting, concernsthe stimulation of the “amygdala”, which is a small almond shaped organ in the brain. You actually have two of them, one on each side of your brain. I learned about the amygdala when I stumbled across a website that told how by stimulating them with your thoughts, it would increase your awareness, intelligence, etc. There were times when I was feeling good that I would feela sensation on my forehead. It would be a tingling feeling, or like someone was lightly touching my forehead with their hand. That is the same sensation that I can produce at any time now by putting my attention on my forehead. What is interesting about the amydala is that there is a method for curing anxiety, panic and phobias that says that the amygdala is responsible for those conditions and that this fact has been known for many years and is common knowledge among scientists the world over. So there could be something to it, based on my own experience. I still make it a point to focus my attention on my forehead aroundthe area of the amydala everyday. You might to give that a trytoo. The thing is, you don’t have to suffer from anxiety and panicattacks. And you don’t have to settle for addictive prescriptiondrugs in order to feel better. There is an abundance of help available to you and it is all natural. I wish you much success in your healing! Monday, November 19th, 2007

By Bill Flagg Attract even more people to your event by giving them something EXTRA for signing up. Spell out in your marketing materials what your registrants will receive for registering. For example, state that they will receive a confirmation email with one of these incentives included: A valuable white paper on the event topicCopies of recent articles by the speaker(s)A form to supply questions to the speakerA registrant listA link to the recorded event after the event These extras can be strong influencers on your registrants in making their decision to sign-up for your event. Additionally, by continuing to sell after the sale, you can reduce the likelihood that “buyers regret” will cause the registrant to cancel or become a no-show. How Do I Find Irresistible Extras? Love Handle Exercises and Workouts

Sunday, November 18th, 2007

By Joe Helou Do your attempts at losing those love handles qualify as major flops? If so, take heart ’cause you’ve just stumbled upon a bundle of unique love handle exercises and workout tips; These waist-trimming goodies will put you on track to slash the flab and vanish that spare tire for good… Getting rid of love handles is actually a dual process: 1- You have to develop your oblique muscles. 2- You have to follow a sound and highly effective fat burning strategy to complement your training efforts. Let us first tackle the oblique developing techniques by detailing the most effective exercises and workout strategies: It’s a fact: Toned obliques give you trimmer love handles. The obliques are those muscles located at both sides of your trunk; they are mainly responsible for rotating it and flexing it to the side. Therefore, the movements that are going to tone your obliques mimic those same functions; i.e. lateral flexion and rotation. Now to effectively stimulate your side muscles, you have to forsake the high-rep approaches and train with weights. That’s right! And oh, don’t worry about overdeveloping your loves handles; this won’t happen if you follow the instructions I’m going to give you So here we go with the first exercise: 1- Side Deadlifts: ———————- Not exactly a side-bending movement, this rarely used drill is hands-down the BEST oblique-developing exercise. Its effectiveness is a result of the continuous workload applied during the motion. The effort should be focused on staying tight and controlling the weight instead of side-bending. Here’s how to execute it: - Stand upright with a barbell on your side (loaded according to your strength). - The starting position should be the same as of a regular deadlift, except you’re grabbing the bar from the side with one arm. So you: 1- Go down 2- Grab the bar 3- Stand up, keeping your body tight throughout the movement The key here is NOT to side-bend, but to stay Straight and maintain balance during the movement; you might want to extend your opposite arm to preserve this balance. Go for 6 reps on each side. Note: Here are some variations of the exercise: - To make the exercise Easier: If you find the side deadlifts too hard, you can do them in a power rack, starting at your knee level instead of lifting the bar from the floor. - To make the exercise Harder: Do Not touch the ground when you lower the bar. This will keep continuous tension on your obliques throughout the movement. 2- Cable Twists: ——————— A twisting exercise by excellence. If you’ve been doing useless twists with a broomstick on your shoulders, then it’s time to try the real deal: Cable twists can be done either on the ground, or on an exercising ball. Starting Position: - Lie flat on the ground or on the ball, next to a cable pulley. - Plant your feet firmly on the floor or have someone hold them TIGHTLY. - Twist your torso to the right, stretching as much as you can. - Grab the handle on the Lower Cable Pulley with Both hands, crossing your fingers together. The Movement: - Keeping you arms slightly bent, twist your torso to the left, until your hands are above your eyes (or slightly past that point). Go for 6-8 reps. Repeat for the Left side as well. 3- Side Bends: ——————- This one is to be done Without weights. Stand upright and start bending right and left while keeping your torso facing forward. Go at a moderate pace and keep repping out for about 2-3 minutes. ———————- Those three exercises are all you need to trim your waistline. Let us now see how to combine them altogether in a productive workout: Your best bet would be to perform three cycles of a no-rest circuit routine. In other words, you perform all three exercises in a row without resting, then take a 2-minute break. Afterwards, you repeat the same cycle, rest for an additional two minutes, and then go for a final round. Consider performing this routine after 30 minutes of cardio, as this would give your fat burning efforts a boost. And there you have it! A highly effective training approach that will help you tone and trim your love handles. Remember that you still have to improve on your eating habits; slight and random changes are not enough… Adopting a sound fat-burning strategy is the key. —————————————————————————————————————————————- Get Rid of Your Love Handles… in Just 5 Days… Learn How at => the Top Weightloss Site —————————————————————————————————————————————- Article Source: http://EzineArticles.com/?expert=Joe_Helou http://EzineArticles.com/?Love-Handle-Exercises-and-Workouts&id=317280 phentermine online consultation phentermine without prescription overnight buy phentermine online consultation phentermine 37.5 diet pills

A Simple Way to Date Women

Friday, November 16th, 2007

By Scott Patterson If you want to make the process of dating women made simple, you first have to stop complicating it. Most men over-analyze everything. They will wonder what she meant when she said something or wrote something in an e-mail or instant message. The first step to the dating process is finding a woman that meets your realistic criteria. What “realistic” means is that if you want a woman who looks like a swimwear model, but you have a beer belly, are a couch potato and don’t have a college degree and a career, you’re not going to attract that kind of woman unless you provide her with a really interesting alternative. An attractive woman who is fun, interesting, and has her act together is never short of suitors. The next step in dating women is to make sure she is someone that you want to get to know. You shouldn’t date any woman just because of her physical appearance. It’s important, but no matter how pretty a woman is, any man will eventually get used to it. She should share the same values and have similar beliefs and you should feed off of your differences. When you behave and talk in a way that indirectly let’s her know that it takes a lot more than a pretty face to keep your attention, you’ll find that she will actually try harder to get your attention. And that’s what you want. You should always judge a person by their actions, not what they say. So if a woman tells you she likes you, but she keeps standing you up, that’s a red flag. If a woman says that wants to be more serious with you, but she continues going out with her girlfriends without inviting you, then she’s not ready for a serious relationship. You should always look at a woman’s actions. If you two are having dinner and her cell phone rings and she answers it in the middle of dinner, then that’s another red flag. When I first talk to women on the phone I like to tell them a short story on how I went on this date recently. I share how we were having dinner and that the woman’s cell phone rang and she immediately answered it. I explain how I thought it was rude. So now the new woman in my life knows that I don’t tolerate that kind of behavior. Generally, this is how the process will go. You will meet someone either online or offline, obtain her contact information, wait a couple of days and then call or e-mail her. Even in the digital age, you want to get her on the phone before you go out on a date. This why you will get to see if there is any phone chemistry. If you can’t even have a good 15 minute conversation over the phone, why bother meeting in person? Once you have qualified her over the phone you can either set up the date right then and there or wait until the next time. For first dates I usually have them meet me at a public place first. I don’t pick them up and I don’t have them come over my place. They are a stranger and I have no idea who they are yet. During the date you should make your decision on whether or not you want to see her again. If you don’t, say your goodbyes. If she contacts you let her know that it was nice meeting her and that it’s best that both of you move on. If she doesn’t contact you after a few days, then call her and tell her the same thing. It’s the right thing to do. But if she’s someone you would like to see again, let her know toward the end of the date. You don’t want to waste your time. You want to find out before you separate where you stand because if she doesn’t feel the same as you do, then it’s best to know that now. Be on the look out for ambiguous answers. If you tell her you’d like to see her again and she responds with “we’ll see”, don’t accept that as an answer. You are not looking for a committed relationship this early on, but you’ll want to let her know that you will not tolerate games. So when I hear “we’ll see” I like letting women know that I’m not a doormat and that I value my time. So I don’t put up with any games and I want to communicate that. So my response to that is simple: “Well, tell you what. I really enjoyed our time that we spent together and would like to see you again. But if you don’t know if you’d like to see my again then I’d appreciate an answer other than ‘we’ll see’ since that’s the kind of stuff I used to hear in high school. If the answer is still “we’ll see” then I know you’re playing games and I’m not about that. So if you had a good time and would like to do it again give me a call. If I never hear from you again, it’s ok, I’m a big boy. Besides, I have no problems meeting women. But I’d prefer to hang out again. So whaddya say?” That response has worked like gold for me because if she doesn’t like what I have to say then I KNOW without a doubt she is not the right woman for me. If she likes what I have to say then I know she’s interested. But more important than that she knows she’s dealing with a real man who will not fall for any of her games. And this is probably the most important point of this article. This makes dating a lot more simple because now you’ve either weeded out the flakes or you’ve found the right girl to pursue a more committed relationship.
